A little done

A couple of quick visits to the allotment this for a lot of weeding done bit still a lot still to do,you don't realise how quick the weeds grow. I think if I give it a good couple of days the weeds will be sorted I hope,my veg is coming on and my fridge is getting full of fresh veg only problem we don't eat it quick enough.

We have had problems over the last few months of people coming onto the allotments causing damage,but this week people are starting to steal people netting which is not good. The rumour around the allotment it could be someone on the allotment is taking things,if it kids or fellow allotment people it's still not good.a few people are starting to take they onion up and Start to store them before they go missing.It's not all gloom I'm still loving it.

I have only been to the allotment over the last few weeks due to me having some jobs to finish off at home, I have finished doing the decking in the back and front garden. I have still got a list off jobs to do at home but not any big ones,so hopefully Incan crack on at the allotment.

We get a lot of cardboard tubes in at work with the ends blocked off so the posters don't fall out,on the end they are some White caps which I have used to put plant pots into.It's quite surprising when you look around on what you can use,my shed is getting quite full of junk so I think it's time to have a good clear out.

Netting over sprouts

Few little bits.

Good day had at the allotment.

Had a good few hours at the allotment yesterday Ive adjusted the netting over the sprouts and cabbages,I managed to borrow some large bamboo canes to hold the netting up.I did have some metal pole but I'd thrown them away a few weeks ago,so I have learnt not to throw anything away.Also did quite a lot of weeding done that much that my recycling bin is full now,will have to borrow tue neigbours bin for the next week.

Went to the allotment yesterday when I left work to try and combat the weeding, I've filled 10 small buckets with weeds even my recycling bin is full now. I cleared the weeds from under the netting so I can raise it up a little with some bamboo canes,will go back later today to try and do some more weeding.I may even take some pics to show you how I am getting on.

Not been on for a while.

Not posted for a while its not that i didn't want to post its just that Ive been busy at home and work,I've been going to the allotment to water everything but neglected doing the weeding and tidying up. So now i have allotment full of weeds which seems to been taking ages to remove,what's doesn't help is the rain we have had has made it all soggy. I've managed to get an app so I can post street from my phone,instead of booting the pc up every night.

Not posted for a while just been really busy at work and home,I have been doing a lot of weeding over the last week. I seem to be getting to the end of the weeding for now, as soon as it rains they all start to grow faster than the veg. Ive given away a few lettuce and courgettes because i have planted to many at once,I have taken home lettuce-cucumbers-spuds- beetroot and a little swede,I've pickled some beetroot for the first time which is very nice indeed.will try and go to the allotment tomorrow and get some pics on the progress i have done.
