Good day yesterday.

Had a good day at the plot on Saturday after the rain we had in the morning,by the time I got to the plot it had dried a little enough to stand on. So I started to weed around the snap peas and broad beans once it had dried a little,the soils is quite good around the bottom end of the allotment so it made it a little easier.

I found a few pea onwards and snap peas while weeding but not as many as I thought, my broad beans are looking well and starting to fill out. The weeds had been holding the beans up so might have to give some support,the snap pea's and onward should be ok.

I tried to do some weeding today but the soil was quite hard and dry,thats with no rain today and with it being windy so its dried it out. In the greenhouse all is looking good, I've started to see some growth on the tomato plants,but nothing on the peppers or cucumber plants.

I've planted even more tomato plants last week in the greenhouse, I think i have about 13 plants now. I have twice as much as i did last year just hope I have plenty of toms from the plants. The tomato plants that I planted this week were all put in grow bags, 3 beef tomato and 3 cherry Tom plants.

Quick visit to the allotment last night just went to water inside the greenhouse,didn't water outside because the forecast was we would get rain on Thursday(we did).

While at the allotment I had to move around some of the tomato plants,it was getting a bit full so couldn't keep the toms tidy. So i moved some of plants to the other side and put a string line up for the plants to grow up,I still have a few plants to sort out into bigger pots or grow bags.

Went to the allotment yesterday and the second I got out of the van it started to rain,so all the plans I had had gone out of the window. I thought it was going to rain today so I didn't go to the plot, guess what it didn't rain oh bugger.So
only did a little bit inside the green house, I repotted some sweet peppers and planted some tomato plants. The Tom plants were planted tubs and grow bags,3 plants in grow bags and 3 in tubs filled with grow bag soil. I'm going to plant some toms in homemade compost to see if i have any look with it. So I have eleven plants at the moment.
